From July 11th to 13th, the 6th meeting of the China Printing and Dyeing Industry Association and the 6th National Printing and Dyeing Industry Management Innovation Conference was held in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. With the theme of “Intelligent Manufacturing, Innovation and Development”, the conference explored the current macroeconomic situation, industry development environment, industrial transformation and innovation, and industrial chain synergy development, and invited senior industry experts and corporate leaders to express their opinions and explore countermeasures.


In the keynote speech, Sun Ruizhe, president of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, used "virtual and real, the world is atomic and bit", "combination and division, the world is one and discrete", "flat and fold, the world is Flat, but also twists and turns, "the same and different, the world is convergent and multi-dimensional" four philosophical words highly summarize the current rapid changes in the textile industry, deep correlation, the unity of opposites and full of unknown world, and proposed The six value-pointing points of the textile industry driven by innovation are intelligence, experience, sharing, responsibility, instant and credit.

In recent years, China's share of the three major textile markets in the United States, Japan and Europe has continued to decline, and some people have begun to sing the textile industry. In this regard, Sun Ruizhe is not worried. He said: "Although the Chinese textile industry has experienced two years of negative export growth, its share in the world market is still considerable."

Sun Ruizhe said that the mode of Chinese enterprises going global is gradually moving from “products going out” to “enterprise going out” to “industrial clusters going out” to reduce investment risks and costs, avoid trade frictions, and not form the benefits of industrial clusters. The country has a first-mover advantage.

Sun Ruizhe pointed out that China's textile and garment industry now has a new position, namely, technology industry, fashion industry, and advanced manufacturing industry. The three positions are not completely separate, but are cross-border integration and value symbiosis with infinite possibilities.

The "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period is a key stage in the transformation and upgrading of China's textile industry. As an important part of the textile industry industry chain, which is characterized by intensive technology, complex management and high environmental protection requirements, the printing and dyeing industry faces severe challenges and rare development opportunities.



Chen Zhihua, president of the China Printing and Dyeing Industry Association, pointed out in his work report on the work of the council that at present, the printing and dyeing industry has both historical problems and new challenges encountered in the new era. It must be based on transformation and upgrading, green development as the cornerstone and quality improvement. Enhance efficiency as a means, rely on scientific and technological innovation and management innovation, improve the level of industry operation, continue to play an important role in the industrial chain, and further promote the healthy development of the industry.

Chen Zhihua also introduced the basic situation of the economic operation of the printing and dyeing industry in January-May 2017. During the period, the output of printing and dyeing fabrics of printing and dyeing enterprises above designated size was 21.902 billion meters, an increase of 6.5% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 7.29 percentage points higher than that of the same period of last year. The printing and dyeing enterprises above designated size achieved a revenue of 160.186 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.87%, an increase of 5.28 percentage points over the same period of last year; the total profit reached 7.457 billion yuan, an increase of 8.32% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 2.49 percentage points compared with the same period of last year. The sales profit rate was 4.66%, an increase of 0.02 percentage points year-on-year.
